Immerse yourself in this dream activation & sound healing ceremony at The Bardo ATL. Join us as we share, explore, and bless our dreams together. Rachel Blum will be the host & guide of this space.

Intentionally curated & crafted beverages will be offered by Altered States, available for purchase when doors open at 7pm until 730pm. Service will resume at 9pm and remain available as long as the lounge is open or the drinks run out. These alchemical crafted beverages are designed to bring your dreams into reality and enhance the Dreamscape experience.
The night begins with an opening circle & introduction to dream work & the practice of practical manifestation. There will be an invitation to then write your dreams down, allowing them to take physical form for the first time. Participants will then be invited to find a comfortable seat or recline on a yoga mat (you must provide your own mat). Rachel will drop us into a guided meditation, followed by lullabying us with a channeled heart song of the group.
A heart song is exactly as it sounds, the song of our heart. With this being a group session, this will be the collective heart song of the group. You will be bathed in vocal tones and harmonies Rachel lays down on her loop station. This heart song is programmed to cleanse and remove any and all obstacles standing between us and our dreams. We will take a moment to bless our dreams and the dreams of others in the circle, bless the planet, and all living beings. The experience will end with a closing circle and opportunity to share our dreams with each other. Then the Bardo lounge will open up for continued connection & community time.

Here the boundaries of art and technology blur to create is a sanctuary for the senses, and weave a tapestry of experiential wonders.
MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST: Rachel Blum is an artist, healer, solution finder & energy optimizer. She is one half of the sacred bass music duo, SurprisinglySimple. As a musician, Rachel uses her voice and resonance to increase vibrations of ease, in turn, healing dis-ease. She guides others to the healer within by connecting them with their own inner resonance. She is passionate about healing our world through creative expression, authentic connection, and empowerment through alignment.
She is an Advanced Pranic Healer through The Institute for Inner Studies, practicing since 2015. She is an Arhatic Yogi, practicing since 2017. She received her teaching certificate in neuroscience-based mindfulness in 2020 through Mastermind based in Dallas, TX. She is a co-founder of an Atlanta based children’s creativity & mindfulness summer camp which she has co-owned and operated for over 20 years.

Oracle Paint Class
Tap into your intuition and creativity through the magic of color on June 29th from 1-3pm at The Bardo (691 W Whitehall St SW Suite 201, Atlanta, GA 30310) for this Oracle Card Paint Class.
*This is our first time doing an event at The Bardo (Experiential Design Gallery) and we are so excited to partner with such a creative space!

How it works:
The first 15-30 minutes will be dedicated to an interactive, mini, oracle card reading from the Prism Oracle Deck. We will use the imagery and color theory from the card drawn to inspire your painting. You will then have the rest of the event to express your card reading through paint on your canvas. Your instructor will guide you through the painting process with live demos and instruction!

Chrysalis (Spring Exhibition)
From the chrysalis, the caterpillar is reborn into a butterfly. It's former embodiment is decayed, to be used as building blocks of something new.
An organic synthesis controlled by the sun, and the stars. A piece of art is a chrysalis for the artist. Seconds, hours, days, and weeks of transmuting energy frozen into a beautiful motif.

Salon Discussion: Platos Symposium
Overview
In this 90 minute salon, together we will discuss a topic using one influential text. This month’s text will be Plato’s Symposium on the Beautiful. All texts selected for salons will be in the public domain. Access to this month’s reading will be provided prior to the salon. To contribute to the discussion group, reading the text before the event is encouraged, but not required. This salon is open to people who wish for more beauty in their lives. To ensure an effective educational experience, seating will be limited to 25 attendees.

Your Dialogue Lead
Your dialogue lead for this session will be Thomas Jockin, Lecturer at University of North Georgia in Visual Art. Thomas is formerly a Lecturer at Pratt Institute, Fashion Institute of Technology, SUNY and Queens College, CUNY. He also has been a guest critic at School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design. He is also a Fellow at the Halkyon Thinker’s Guild where his online lecture course, The Beautiful and Virtue: A Reading of Six Platonic Dialogues is available for preorder.

The salon will be broken up into 20 minute intervals in the following format:
A reading of a dialogue section, followed by a summary by the dialogue lead.
The floor is opened for attendees to reflect, affirm, question, or challenge the dialogue section.
A summary of the attendee testimony is made by the dialogue lead.
We repeat the format in the next interval.
