A studio for building new ways to gather.

The Bardo is an experiential design studio and agency featuring a 764 sq ft rentable lounge and community space in Atlanta. We operate in the in-between—where creativity, experimentation, and transformation converge. Like creativity itself, we live in the liminal: a place for becoming, reimagining, and building beyond the limits of what’s expected.

We design multi-sensory experiences, systems, environments, and installations that center connection, entrainment, and curiosity. Our work blends biophilia, sustainability, and technology—leveraging tools like 3D modeling, projection mapping, herbal mixology, sound design, mixed reality, and upcycled materials. Everything we build is meant to be felt in the body, not just viewed from a distance.

This isn’t a club. It’s not a gallery. And it’s not a co-working space. It’s something in-between. A place for artists, organizers, and cultural workers to test ideas, prototype new formats, and create moments that actually land.

We made The Bardo because we were tired of squeezing our work—and our people—into systems that weren’t built for us. So we built our own.

Our Team

  • Luther Ocasio (Creative Director)

    Co-Founder of The Bardo, creative director. Luther's focus as an experiential designer is on blending sensory design, digital art, nature and health science. He does this by building transformative environments that inspire, engage and alter ones state. His creations are immersive worlds that invite viewers to experience and envision alternative realities for society and the planet.

  • Kofi Ksa (Performance Arts Director)

    Co-founder of The Bardo. He is a Performance Artist, that specializes in that art of magic, and vibrational sound therapies.

    He is committed to exploring the transformative power of art through innovative practices, personal growth and self-discovery. His multiple disciplines blends creativity with healing to inspire meaningful change.

  • Pedro Navarez (Cultural Purveyor)

  • Kimbo (Experiential Design Intern)

    She is an interdisciplinary designer with a focus on digital + experience design, adaptation, accessibility, and bridging gaps to form new connections. 

    Her work focuses on fostering community belonging, curiosity, and delight. She aims to blur the lines between fantasy and reality by crafting projects that challenge our perceptions and encourage wonder. 


  • Ione is a (Multi-disciplinary design Intern)

    An Interdisciplinary artist with passion for product research, food, and sustainability
