In partnership with TEDxAtlanta and Soul Dance Movement, we designed a low-sensory Refresh Room for this year’s TEDx conference—a calming sanctuary where participants could rest, reset, and regulate between sessions.
The experience spoke volumes. The room featured dim lighting, soothing textures, botanical infusions, and an overall softness that supported nervous system regulation and presence.
The experience also included a preview of the immersive installation SENSE, presented by multidisciplinary artists from our creative network. Through layered light, ambient sound, and intention-led design, the installation offered attendees a moment of deeper embodiment.
This project was a powerful reminder that true experiential design doesn’t just stimulate the senses—it supports the whole being.
